Engineering Outsourcing

Offshore engineering teams, built to embed.

Dedicated software, QA, and design squads operating from Pakistan — with the standups, the time-zone overlap, and the delivery discipline of an in-house team. Senior-first, scaled to your roadmap.

The problem

The bottleneck is rarely the spec. It is the hiring plan.

You know what to build. You just do not have six months to recruit. Generic body-shopping makes that worse: you get junior hands without senior judgement, a layer of account managers between you and the engineers, and a slow ramp where nothing ships. We staff senior-first, embed the team in your tools, and put a delivery lead on the hook for outcomes — so the work moves the week the contract starts.

How we approach it

What an engagement looks like.

  1. 01

    Role definition

We start with the problem, not the seat count. Together we define the squad shape — engineers, QA, design — and the outcomes they own, not just the standups they attend.

  2. 02

    Senior-first staffing

You meet candidates within ten business days. Every role has senior involvement; no one is shadow-billed to backfill a junior. You approve every hire.

  3. 03

    Embedded delivery

The squad joins your standups, your repo, your Slack, your sprint board. We bring delivery discipline; you keep the roadmap. Daily handoff, weekly reviews, monthly retros.

  4. 04

Scale up, scale down, or hand over

Squads flex with the work. When a project ends we can either redeploy the team, ramp down cleanly, or convert engineers to your direct hires on agreed terms.

What you get

Concrete deliverables, not just hours.

  • Dedicated engineers, QA, and designers — not a shared agency pool
  • Time-zone overlap with your team (EU and US working hours)
  • A delivery lead accountable for output, not just attendance
  • Weekly written status reports — what shipped, what slipped, what is next
  • Code reviewed by senior engineers before it touches your main branch
  • Standardised onboarding so new engineers are productive in week one
  • Security: background-checked engineers, signed NDAs, source-code controls
  • Clean hand-over playbook if you want to bring the work in-house later
Who this is for

Where we add the most value.

A roadmap your hiring plan can not catch up with

You know what to build and you have the spec — what you do not have is the engineers, and you will not have them for six months.

A bootstrapped product that needs senior firepower

When founders need to ship features that need senior engineering judgement, not just hands, without committing to full-time hires yet.

A QA, platform, or design gap inside a larger team

When one role is the bottleneck and a full-time hire is months away, an embedded contractor or two unblocks the rest of the team.

FAQ

Engineering outsourcing — common questions

Where are DigiHawks engineers based?

Our engineers work from Pakistan — Islamabad and New Mirpur City. We schedule working hours to overlap with your team, typically covering a full European day or a substantial morning slot for US East Coast clients.

How is this different from hiring through a typical staffing agency?

Staffing agencies sell hours and pass through a CV. We sell outcomes and stand behind delivery — every squad has a delivery lead accountable for what ships, not just for what the timesheet says. You also keep direct working relationships with engineers, not gated agency contact.

Can we hire your engineers directly later?

Yes, on agreed terms set up front. We are not interested in trapping clients into perpetual contracts. If an engineer becomes critical and you want to convert them to a direct hire, we have a clean process for it.

How do you protect our intellectual property and source code?

All engineers sign NDAs and assignment-of-IP agreements before they touch your repo. We can work inside your existing access controls (your GitHub org, your VPN, your laptops) so source code never leaves your perimeter.

What size of engagement makes sense?

The smallest engagement we take is a two-person squad for at least three months — anything smaller does not give us enough room to add real value. There is no upper limit; we have run squads from two engineers to teams of fifteen.

What does engineering outsourcing cost?

Monthly rates per role, billed in arrears, with a 30-day notice period. Rates depend on seniority and the specific role; we will send a written proposal after a discovery call. There are no setup fees and no per-ticket charges.

Need engineers shipping next week?

Tell us what you are building and the shape of the team you need. We will send candidates within ten business days.
